Bill Newby was raised in a minister`s home. He attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Oklahoma Uiversity, and Central Bible College/Kansas City Extension.

Bill and Eunice served as pastors in Winslow, Arizona, from 1960-1964, First Assembly of God, Duncan, Oklahoma, from 1964-1974, and came to Crown Pointe Church (formerly Central Assembly of God in Raytown) in August of 1974. He was elected Assistant District Superintedent in 2000.
