Church Planters Needed!!!
The Southern Missouri District has specific and intentional goals of planting new churches to reach persons who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The large metropolitan areas of St Louis and Kansas City are priority areas of focus.
If you are interested in planting a church in the Southern Missouri District, please do the following exercises before you make an application. The following steps are designed to help you determine your gifts and calling to accomplish this important ministry.
- Purchase and do prework in "CHURCH PLANTING BOOTCAMP STUDENT KIT" with your spouse.
- Send a typewritten report of your observation on the above manual.
- Send a one-page essay describing what your vision of a new church you would plant would look like, including location of interest and the name of a possible parent church.
- Provide two preaching tapes of consecutive Sundays, if possible.
Upon completion of the above steps an application is available to begin the identification process for new church planters.
Church planters will be expected to attend a church planters boot camp.
